Who We Are
Stonehedge Gardens & Holistic Learning Center is a beautiful, landscaped sanctuary with walking trails, ponds, perennial gardens located in Tamaqua, in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Stonehedge provides a healing, sacred, inclusive environment for the cultivation of community and personal transformation through wellness, art, holistic education and connection with nature. Bringing people together to heal, inspire and thrive.
We support local artists, non-profits, social entrepreneurs and others who are working to be the change they wish to see in the world. In order to create this kind of environment, we strive to incorporate permaculture principles in all that we do.
We are slowly and intentionally inviting in programming such as workshops, retreats & festivals through the summer into the end of the year, utilizing our vast outdoor space. We appreciate your patience and your resilience!

Path of TransformationAt Stonehedge we work on weaving the principles of permaculture, natural building and sustainability to create structures in a meaningful way by connecting people to the land. In this video Eric, The Off Grid Guru, takes us on the journey of rebuilding our old greenhouse to become a fully functional Earthship Greenhouse, reusing the water from the farmhouse to nourish the plants. From the tires in the foundation to the bricks in the floor and glass bottles in the wall, so many recycled materials were given a second life in the building of this structure.
